An anchor, because of Hebrews 6:19, “We have this hope as an anchor of the soul…” But small, and somewhere hidden. I’m thinking at the back of my neck or something. And it’ll be just black with no shading or anything..simple.
Like, you could be anywhere and meet someone who is actually an angel. There was a movie, I forgot what it is, but a lady’s cab driver turned out to be an angel. I know that’s just a movie, but it’s still possible.
I think that would be so cool, though I wouldn’t actually know it was an angel. Although, maybe that’s the cool part about it—a chance encounter with someone could actually not be by chance at all, but you figure it out in the longrun.
Loving something vs. the loving the idea of something
I think a lot of times we get this mixed up. Like, do you really love who you say you love, or do you love the idea of loving them? Sometimes love of the idea can be so strong that we get them confused.
I’ll give you an example, not concerning relationships. I remember for a long time I loved to dance—I did it from the ages of four to fourteen. However, I just stopped loving it, so I quit. And then I started to miss it. But I’ve realized, I don’t miss dancing. I miss the idea of dancing, being so passionate about it.
So, when you say you love someone, ask yourself, do I really love him/her? Or do I love the idea of loving him/her? That’s why I think that “I love you” is thrown around so much. You see kids who say “I love you” to a person after 2 days of going out.
Saying you love someone should be important. If you don’t really, truly love someone, don’t tell them you do, because it’s not fair to them or to you.
I’m not one of the party girls. I actually take the time to go hang out with my friends and family. I still cook dinner for my parents. I still hold long conversations with my grandparents. I still baby-sit my younger cousins and the children of my parents’ friends. I know responsibility and how…
when I go to the movies, I end up going twice in the same week, and then I don’t go for, like, 2 months. Like, thursday I saw Eclipse (it was…ehh. some parts were funny), and then last night I saw Salt (great movie).
I hate it when like you use to talk to someone loads and really get on, really close whatever, then like for some reason or another you guys stop talking and just grow apart then when months later you try talking to that person and it just doesn't work. The conversation just dies and you can't really talk anymore much, and you don't have the friendship you once had. Only the memories.
The reason tumblr has been down is because over this past year tumblr has had a massive addition of new users, and quite frankly a lot of us ( those of us who were around when tumblarity was ) don't appreciate it.
I think a lot of us can agree on if you do not credit your posts/ get your posts from weheart it/ only reblog and text post, you should consider leaving tumblr, or changing your tumblr to something more suiting.
I know this sounds ridiculous but I honestly think ( as i’ve said before ) if you want to join you should have to take some sort of test ( sure, call it a hipster test. ) and tumblr should have to scale through your music library/last.fm to see if you’re able to join. As self absorbed as that sounds, I know a lot of you agree that a whole fleet of myspace trash has flooded in, not only because of jessi slaughter, because Tumblr in general has had increased media attention over the past year. Tumblr is not facebook nor is it Myspace. It’s unfair for the users of Tumblr who treat it respectfully to have to deal with this out and out bullshit.
This is not a matter of taking blogging too seriously, this is a matter of bringing back what Tumblr originally was.
UH, really? Have a test? Seriously? Everyone is different and that’s what’s great about Tumblr- everyone can express their opinions/interests, whether others like it or not. And if you don’t like what those people are doing, don’t follow them. This isn’t unfair at all to the rest of us. They have as much a right to be here as we do, whether we like what they post or not.
I am waking up early to watch her on GMA tomorrow. SDaoishdaodhovhw thisis bullshit.
If she goes on TV saying that people threatened to kill her and such parents are gonna flip a shit and Tumblr will be in trouble since she had one.
I honestly doubt tumblr will be in trouble. There’s cyber-bullying all over the internet. I mean, what about formspring? If tumblr would be in trouble, then I would assume formspring would be too because of all the bullying and stuff. idk haha. (:
